Error when Designing a Custom Data Form in SharePoint Foundation 2010

If you upgrade your WSS 3.0 to SharePoint Foundation and have custom forms with too many columns you ma gett into troubles (as of 1.1.2011, because I am sure that this is going to fixed in the next CU).

All worked fine for me when adding columns to the form until I suddenly received an error:

"Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.

Correlation ID:somestring"

It turned out that after I exceeded 64 columns I received the error. Removing some columns brought back the form too life. There was one reference to this issue which was answered by Microsoft that indeed this is a problem and the current workaround is to remove the description control to free more space for columns. This tip didn't work for me. Here I quote the answer:

"We have found you can remove the sharepoint:fielddescription control to help increase the number of fields on the web part before it errors out.
